Teamworks™ put this expertise to use internationally in developing sport and recreation as an industry by developing a culture that supports physical activity across the community.
Although Teamworks™ currently does and has put these skill sets to use in the elite end of the sporting spectrum the core business remains grass roots or community based sport development. This is echoed as well as amplified by the experience Teamworks™ holds in their Organizational and Team Development product lines.
Teamworks™ staff and sport development consultants have worked on project too numerous to list but have included international and domestic projects such as the Sydney Olympics developing community sport centres in 7 countries, creating leagues, conducting sporting events, etc. See Strengths of the Sport Development Team later in this document for further demonstrated skills.

Event Management Teamworks™ organises in excess of 350 events a year including international, national and local events, conferences, seminars and workshops, shows and entertainment. Teamworks™ specialise in bringing the various elements together that guarantee an event's success including:

Teamworks™ Qualification Courses
Teamworks™ became a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) in 2003 commencing with qualifications courses in Sport and Recreation. At the same time the Outdoor Sports and Recreation industry in Australia was undergoing change to ensure that all practitioners in the field were qualified to a Nationally Recognised standard. John Zevgolis chaired the committee that oversaw the national implementation. Teamworks™ helped lead the way in Western Australia to ensure the smooth implementation of this national initiative by offering industry based short courses to experts in their field who needed to become qualified in the new standards. This initiative has proven to be a great success for all stakeholders and Teamworks™ have held courses in Kuala Lumpur for industry leaders/teachers who recognise the value in the matter of best practice.
During 2004 Teamworks™ became scoped to deliver Certificate and Diploma courses in Business (Frontline Management). Once again, Teamworks™ identified the specific needs of the market for this course and offer these courses on a fully customisable basis (within the scope of the qualification). In doing so, Teamworks™ ensure that clients in the automotive industry, for instance, will have case studies, legislation and compliance issues that specifically target their industry. Innovative course design that meets the needs of Teamworks™ clients is Teamworks™ Specialty.
Teamworks™ currently deliver customised qualifications and courses in Business (Frontline Management), Sport and Recreation, Health and Fitness, Outdoor Recreation, Leadership, and Training and Assessment. We have a number of highly qualified consultants who can provide facilitation and training in each of these areas.
In addition, Teamworks™ qualification courses can be aligned to various University and Further Education qualifications. Teamworks™ have aligned courses with the Ballarat University, Curtin University, and the University of Western Australia.

Youth Programs Teamworks™ are committed to the development of youth to encourage the adults of tomorrow to identify their potential today. Teamworks™ offer a variety of youth based programs both experientially and with a core theoretical base. Mal Lowther, one of Teamworks™ directors has been actively involved in the development of our signature youth leadership program.
The Teamworks™ Youth Leadership program targets 16-20 year olds who have been identified by government departments, schools and community groups. The program is designed to develop these individuals to their full potential as leaders in our community. The curriculum is based around a set of core values such as honesty, respect, self-discipline, courage, trust, support, empathy and compassion.
Leadership is developed through the use of various teambuilding activities and personal challenges. Participants are given the opportunity to work with other young people to achieve a result and their leadership style is then discussed by the group and the facilitators.
Teamworks™ have worked with over two thousand schools in West Australia since 1986 and Teamworks™ youth work continues to be a valuable contribution to the company's overall programming ethos. These youth programs are conducted as half day, full day or intensive multi-day programs.
