We recently contracted Teamworks Development Australia to design and conduct a Training course for our staff in Western Australia. The scope of the training required some very specific outcomes that we were seeking, while still maintaining an element of fun and camaraderie. The level of details that we required was to maximise our training for team and personal development and to emphasise specific team deficiencies that had previously been identified.

The most pleasing aspect of this course was the debrief sessions held immediately after the course and in the following weeks. This was where the true benefit of the course was realised. The Teamworks team provided a strong insight to both the individual and team's performance with sound recommendations for corrective development.

I am more than happy to write this recommendation based on our experience with Teamworks Development Australia. Our intention is to use them in the near future for further development activities.

Over the years, I have been involved in many team-building events, as both a participant and an organizer. My first positive reaction was the speed of Teamworks' response and their readiness to provide a customised outdoor training program as soon as possible. TDA engaged the students right from the start by presenting as a friendly and supportive team who would help each child achieve. The planned challenges were timed perfectly so students did not disengage and the level of difficulty was most appropriate for the age group. The leaders were personable and quickly developed trust within their groups. At the end of the sessions students were most comfortable around their leaders and some emerged euphoric having overcome personal fears. As the coordinator it game me valuable time to assess the level of leadership in the group and the cohesiveness of the group.
